Today the Columbia River Camaro Club drove to McMinnville Oregon to visit the Evergreen Aviation Museum. Had a blast with over 40 Camaros, every gen was present. Lots of great planes as well as well as the famous "Spruce Goose"

I love that museum and I love my Camaros. Your pics are sadly lacking in second gens, but given what else is on display I'll let that slide. My '71 is getting perilously close to being road worthy, if not road-trip worthy. Of course once that's accomplished the body and interior work will commence, but at least it will move.

We didn't have very many 2nd gens show today. 3 73's and a 77, 7 first gens, 3 third gens, 3 fourth gens and a whole mess of 5th gens.

I caught the '77 in one of the pictures. Strange that more first gens showed up but then again putting money in to a first gen to make it a reliable cruiser makes sense since they are worth more. The lesser values of second gens make that a different equation to anybody except a few weirdos, like me.

our clubs breakdown of gens is that 5th is the highest then 1st,2nd,4th,3rd. Most of our 2nds are 70-73. I was surprised at the amount of 1st gens, due to rain this morning.

That breakdown makes sense. When it comes to 2nd gens there were a lot sold, hell they sold them for over 10 years, but only the 70-73 are making any headway in popularity as of now which is ironic since they had fairly low production numbers.

Very true! In fact my first one, a '72, ended up there after I had an unfortunate meeting with a telephone pole years ago.

Camaroboy's ride I'm guessing. Looks great.
